Roasted Onion Mayonnaise Recipe
Leftover turkey?? Let’s spice up those day after turkey sandwiches with ROASTED ONION MAYONNAISE—recipe to follow!
- 2 sweet onions, peeled and halved
- 2 cups mayonnaise (I like Duke’s)
- 1 tsp. sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease. Place the halved onions on the baking sheet and sprinkle with the sugar and roast in the preheated oven until they have turned a deep golden brown and have softened in the center, about 30 minutes or so. Remove from oven and let cool. Place the onions into a food processor or blender, add the mayonnaise and puree until smooth. Season to taste with kosher salt and fresh pepper grinds.
Store in your new Café Refrigerator with both a hot water dispenser and a standard ice water one, the hands free autofill, and the Door-in-Door Design.
Fig-Pecan Baked Brie with French Bread Rounds Recipe
Whether you are hosting an impromptu groovy get-together or a casual pot luck, there are endless ways to keep hungry guests with simple, satisfying appetizers—like the Fig-Pecan Baked Brie with French Bread Rounds.
- 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons water
- ¾ cup cane syrup or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon chopped dried figs
- 1 tablespoon fig preserves
- 2 tablespoons pecan halves
- 1 8 oz. wheel of Brie
Pre-heat oven to 325. In a small saucepan, heat brown sugar, water, and syrup over medium heat until dissolved, about 3 minutes. Add figs and preserves: cook until figs are softened slightly and liquid is thickened, about 5 minutes. Stir in pecans. (Can be made ahead of time and refrigerated—just heat slowly to soften.) Place Brie in baking dish. Pour fig mixture over Brie. Bake until Brie is softened, about 10 minutes or so. Serve immediately.
What fun to use your new Café induction cooktop for making the syrup with a system that automatically adjusts the time, temperature and pace to help you get ideal results. Then pop the Brie in to bake in your new French Door Wall Oven that is unique in design and joyful to operate.
Then pop all those dishes in your new Ultra-quiet Café Dishwasher with 140 cleaning jets, bottle wash jets to wash tall and deep items, and silverware jets to remove stuck-on food.
Enjoy the holidays with great recipes and fashion forward appliances!
